Soror Carolyn G. Randolph, 19th South Atlantic Regional Director, SAR Ivy Circle Fellowship

The Carolyn G. Randolph Ivy Circle Fellowship was established to assist South Atlantic Region undergraduate (UG) chapters and sorors in participating in interactive, and high-impact leadership development workshops, forums and summits.

Fellowship Requirements: 

  • Applicants must be an active undergraduate member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® at an accredited campus-based degree-granting institution.

  • Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above (at least a C average.)

  • Must submit an official transcript(s) from the college/university that you are attending with the cumulative GPA listed (please open, scan, and add as an attachment).

  • Must demonstrate participation in leadership, volunteer, civic or campus activities.

  • 2 letters of recommendation or commendation from someone who can attest to your personal character and attributes; neither should come from a relative or peer.

  • Must submit a personal goal statement. Please include in your statement how your goals will support your chapter, campus, and surrounding community. Submit no more than two double-space pages between 100 and 250 words

Chapter Service Project Requirements: 

  • UG Chapter must be in good standing with respective college/university and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
  • UG Chapter service project must address one of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority's Signature Program Initiatives.

Sorors of Gamma Theta Omega Chapter Scholarship Fund

Undergraduate, full-time, sophomore level or higher, member, 3.0 GPA or above, campus/community leader, attend school in SA region/Florida, essay requirement.

Eligibility & Criteria
Each of the eight (8) South Atlantic Cluster Endowments and the South Atlantic Region Endowment has specific eligibility requirements and award criteria.
Applicants must reside within one of the eight South Atlantic Region clusters or be enrolled in an accredited college or university located in one of these clusters. Residency or school location will be verified using the applicant's home zip code or the college/university address.

 Applications will be accepted January 5 through February 1, 2026.
