Thank you for your interest in the Educational Advancement Foundation. As chapter and community leaders, you are the group who will be charged with sharing and implementing the programs and initiatives of philanthropy and giving that are essential to our mission to “Promote Lifelong Learning.”
We continue to look for new ways to promote our scholarship efforts, such as increased presence on social media platforms and partnering with university/college financial aid offices to showcase our information on their websites.
Scholarships
We are pleased to offer different scholarships for our varied and diverse student base. Please share this information with the college students in your various networks and encourage them to become familiar with our scholarship application deadlines and apply during our open application periods.
Endowments/Fellowships
An endowment is a permanently restricted fund that lives in perpetuity. EAF maintains a robust portfolio of endowments that are available to fund scholarships.
We also have manage several Fellowships which are available to award scholarships on the even-numbered years. A fellowship is a named scholarship fund set up to support students studying in specific fields (i.e. Lupus Disease, Math/Science, Mental Health Awareness, etc.). That academic experience well-prepared her to pass the LSAT and enter the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2020. While there, Melba aspired to become President of the Student Bar Association, Sub-Regional Director, Black Law Student Association, Judicial Law Clerk, Memphis Law Moot Court Board, Senior Justice and Honor Council.”

It is such a relieve and joy to share this news. s a P-LPC, I will begin seeing clients and accruing hours to count towards my licensure requirements to become fully licensed on day.”
