To provide assistance to students in Central Region majoring in business administration (undergraduate students only).
Minority student, undergraduate, 4-year institution, full-time, sophomore level or higher, education or STEM major, 2.8 cumulative GPA or higher, graduated from public high school in TN or AR, proof of financial need, replace narrative with essay describing academic and career goals, 250-word minimum.
To inspire future scholars toward engaging their communities and catalyzing social forces to lead global change.
To provide financial assistance for students studying art.
To provide assistance to undergraduate students in Virginia with a financial need.
Undergraduate chapters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., chapter programs implementing AKA Initiatives.
Eligible projects must address one of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority's Signature Program Initiatives.
Recipients should be a full-time, sophomore or beyond, currently enrolled in an accredited degree-granting institution or accepted if applying as a graduate student, minimum 2.5 GPA, demonstrates community service and involvement, typically will not qualify for either merit-based or needs-based award, experiencing a financial shortfall and need support to pursue ...
