A former EAF Scholarship recipient, Miss Bonner attends Tuskegee University and holds a 3.9 GPA majoring in Environmental Science. She is a member of the university’s TItle IX and is responsible for reviewing it’s policy on an ongoing basis. She is a member of the Pre-Law Society and a volunteer with the Southern Christian Leadership Foundation. Elyse believes every community regardless of race, color, or socioeconomic status should have equal representation in decisions regarding their health and environment. She plans to pursue her master’s and doctorate degrees. Her ultimate career goal is to be an environmental lawyer. The EAF scholarship has helped to finance her undergraduate degree. She will go on to make a difference and help reform environmental legislation within our government.
