The Educational Advancement Foundation succeeds through the generosity of friends, corporate and community supporters and people like you. Generous contributions make it possible for individuals from all walks of life to complete a program of study, obtain seed money to transform an idea into a reality or start or complete a research project. Making a difference would not be possible without the commitment of EAF donors.
Greetings! I encourage you to look around our website where you will learn more about our mission, those we serve and the impact of our work. We establish partnerships that enable us to create sustainable funding streams to support scholarships for deserving, underrepresented students.

The mission of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Educational Advancement Foundation is to promote lifelong learning. This is accomplished by securing charitable contributions, gifts and endowed funds to awards scholarships, fellowships and grants.
Funds to support the Alpha Kappa Alpha Educational Advancement Foundation come from membership dues, investment income, sale of products, bequests, Combined Campaigns (State and Federal), United Way and contributions from corporations, individuals and chapters of the Sorority. These funds allow EAF to deliver an awards program throughout 10 regions internationally.

Added to EAF's array of programs in 1995, fellowships do not require enrollment in an academic institution. These awards help to improve the quality of life of others by funding research and projects with practical applications.
Contributions are the lifeblood of the Foundation's work, enabling us to generate the investment income that funds our programs.
Scholarships are the primary means by which EAF carries out its mission. The Foundation awards Merit, Financial Need and Youth Partners Accessing Capital (P.A.C.) scholarships.
